How faithful is the conversion?
Text-based PDFs convert with strong preservation of text, tables, images and layout. Complex multi-column layouts may need light touch-ups after conversion.
Can it convert scanned PDFs?
Not yet. Scanned or image-only PDFs have no selectable text, so there's nothing to make editable. Optical character recognition (OCR) is on our roadmap — we won't pretend a scan converted when it didn't.
